Parish Pastoral Council
The Parish Pastoral Council met on 10 December. Plans were finalised for the Readers Meeting (11 December, 7pm to 8pm) and the Advent Reflection (17 December). Further plans for the Novena of Grace (March 2008) were discussed. Discussions on a Parish Retreat were deferred. The next PPC meeting takes place on 14 January.

The Parish Pastoral Council met on 19 November. Plans are now underway for a Readers Meeting (11 December, 7pm to 8pm), Advent Reflection (17 December) and the Novena of Grace (March 2008). A request has been made for a Parish Retreat and this will be discussed further. Some family based initiatives are being reviewed. The next PPC meeting takes place on 10 December.

followed by a review of the year.
Parish Pastoral Council met in the Parish Centre, Halston Street on 27th April at 6:30pm. The change in Parish status went smoothly and is working well.
PPC Membership - Those willing to go forward for a second term will be open to do so over the Summer. Nominations will be sought in September to fill vacancies.
Training in Child Protection - names were brought forward for consideration.
Review of Easter 2007 was very positive. Some ideas for next year were noted.
World Youth Day - CYC to be contacted for resources 
Parish Pastoral Council met in the Parish Centre, Halston Street on 23rd March at 6:30pm. Following discussions with the Archdiocese, it has been decided that Church Street will revert to being a Friary church. This means that there will be one parish church and this will be Halston Street. The parish clergy will continue to live in the friary in Church Street. The parish office and the friary office will remain in Church Street. 
Novena of Grace got a very positive response. The different speakers on the nine nights was a great idea giving a great atmosphere on each of the nights. 
Youth initiatives are to be looked into in future meetings - Mass for those sitting exams and World Youth Day 2008. 
Easter schedule will be as last year. 
Parish Pastoral Council met in the Parish Centre, Halston Street on 23rd February at 6:30pm. Plans are well under way for the Novena of Grace. The meeting with readers went ahead on 20th February with a good attendance. Future meetings with onegoing formation will take place over the next few months.
Parish Pastoral Council met in the Parish Centre, Halston Street on 19th January at 6:30pm. Very positive feedback from the 'Make a Home for Jesus' event. Great praise for those who rejuvenated the cribs in both churches (photographs online).
