The Year of St. Paul
Pope Benedict XV1 launch the year of St. Paul – 28th June 2008 to 29th June 2009.
Below is a prayer that you might consider making your own over the next twelve months:
“. . . that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the holy ones what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” (Ephesians 3:17–19).
Details of events regarding the year can be found on a specially designed website
www.annopaolino.org
"This 'Pauline Year' will take place in a special way in Rome, where for 2,000 years under the papal altar of this basilica (St. Paul Outside the Walls), lies the tomb that according to experts and undisputed tradition has conserved the remains of the apostle Paul," said Pope Benedict.
